Research trip: Sweden and U.S. 12

This entry covers 1 and a half days. I got the night to go out to watch The Mets baseball. Such a fun night and a cultural experience.

It was a late night and then an early morning to head out to Yale for the day. The trip in itself was another cultural experience, travelling up by a greyhound bus and back via an Amtrak train. Yale is totally amazing and completely different to New York. It is so quiet and ordered with marvellous old buildings. It is a little like stepping back to a different time, if not a different country.

Coming back to New York was another step back into craziness. There are so many things about this amazing city and so I will sun up a few thoughts. Firstly, police. They are everywhere, on most corners and train stations, and even the national guard in some places. Here are a selection of Police vehicles.

The there are the large and impressive buildings. I think Large sums up another aspect of NYC. There are so many iconic places and things in this city, it is a bit like being in a familiar movie.

I got to walk home through Central Park who’s his again just like a movie scene.

It was a 25,000 step day so dinner was a $1 slice of pizza in bed watching TV. Until tomorrow when it is off to Minnesota.
