Covid week 8: May 3rd - 10th

Week 8.
More of school, work and eating.

We celebrated Cinque O de Mayo. It is a South America feast for day of the dead. There is a Brooklyn 99 episode with a heist that is Based on the festival.  We went all
out with chorizo, chicken and beans.

We also made 2 more slices- lemon and berry.

Some photos of Ed this week...
he enjoys studying outside

Attempting to skateboard

And science with marshmallows and pasta.

Holly is also attempting to skateboard.

Why are there not many photos of Kate? Well she is addicted to Suits and has watched 7 seasons in less than a week.

This week at work, Mark was really enjoying work at a nursing home chatting to lonely isolated people. What a blessing.  He has also got into his Statistics essay. Fun fun.

Work was tough for Sal with a audio session with Fair Work. Ohh, the joy of employees. The lesson: it’s good to have great lawyers on your side.

Sal went for a walk with Sue and showed her Appian Way. Grandma finally found a place she would be happy to live (pity it’s not on the North shore)

To celebrate Mother’s Day we had Margaret and David over on Saturday for pizzas and Hummingbird Cake. Margaret has spent #iso gardening and learning how to play the harp. David has been working on the family tree and also a spot of gardening. They are enjoying watching Steven preach each week in Geeringong.

We then went to visit Sue and Robin on Sunday for a hit of tennis and darts- and more refrigerator cake and vanilla slice.

We also let Wallace go to mum and dads for a weeks holiday.

Sal has big dreams for Mother’s Day. She asked for new bins and toilet brushes for the bathrooms. Also she wanted a new clothes basket trolley and clothes hanger. And she wasn’t disappointed.
She also got some stylish new earrings and scarf. Thanks kids.
Mark knows Sals love language is acts of service- so he vacuumed the red car and did some handyman things. 😍❤️😍❤️
