COVID week 6: April 19-25

Sunday 19th
We continue to enjoy our fire pit and our jack and jill chair out the front of our house some times with other people to keep us sane.

How are face mask fun? Is a question dad does not  like to answer because he would say "why are we doing this?"  We tried face masks as a family and 2 out of 6 people/dogs did not like this one bit. Wallace was scared of us when we wore them. Holly had a bubbly mask dad had a charcoal one, Ed and Kate had a gold one and mum had little ones under her eyes.

We did lots of tidying up of rooms and we changed some to so now Eds room is diffrent with is bed moved some were else.
Holly was very lucky and won a sports award and we didn't know until we got it in the post,
Somehow mum started to play with the dog by playing tug of war and relised how hard it is (sorry mum no more telling us to try harder and win).

The cooking challenges continue with lots of slices being made from our new book (thanks to the amazing Ed).
We started with a Passionfruit slice made by the girls and
after that Holly wanted to make a Mint slice to please her appetite.
Mum made Refrigerator slice and it ws gone in a day.
On the girls last day of holidays Kate wanted something else so she made choc caramel slice.

ANZAC day
On Anzac Day we started off with a small dawn service of our own with grandma and grandad. We also had some Anzac bickies to show our appreciation to the soldiers of the wars. We also did a little research and saw some of our ANZAC relatives who fought in the war.

In the morning we saw a little remembrance that lit up the morning sky.  After we had fresh eggs from Ash (who lives across the road) and bacon with grandma and grandad.

After a long time, we decided we had to paint the poles and the doors on the back veranda to spice up our house once again within 1 day.
We did a family ride to help Holly and Grace celebrate Milly's birthday during isolation.
Dad took us to sideways cafe but The sideways cafe has gone back to its past and become a grocery store as well as a coffee shop.

We finished our week wth another fire and outdoor movie "Smokey and the Bandit" classic (not).
