Sweden and U.S. research trip: Part 3

After a mostly good night sleep, it was up again at 2:30am.  The body clock has not changed yet!  It gave me the opportunity to catch up on some work before breakfast.  I had a really nice breakfast in the hotel, and then after some more work I got exploring.  I managed to walk 22,000 steps today as I walked the city. Out the front of the hotel the flower market had now morphed into a second hand goods market, and it was packed all day.

I also scoped out the gym in the hotel.  Not a great Gym, but very floral.

The city is an amazing European city with all kinds of interesting architecture.  The old part of the city is filled with lots of narrow cobbled lanes, souvenir shops, cafes etc.  It was quite picturesque.

Along the rivers and boulevards there is a different kind of building. It is quite reminiscent of Paris in many ways.

By the evening the sun had come out again to make the most of the flowering blooms and an evening ale before heading back to the hotel for some more work and an early night.

  1. I like the old French cobblestone background! A fairy tale city...
