Summer Fun #22

This posts the start of the fourth week of the summer holidays for the kids. It  marked the start of the "Dawny's" under 12 summer 3 day comp.  At this competition teams from all over Sydney come and the Balmain club raises money and try to raise up new officials and coaches.

At this comp Ed has been playing, Holly has been refereeing and Kate coaching Ed's team.  It was a long day down at Dawny’s with a picnic dinner before Holly headed off for a training session with Ryde.

As Holly trained Kate and Dad did a swim session, that Kate was refusing to do, but eventually got into when she realised she was swimming much quicker than her dad. (N.B. dad had ridden his bike at 6am, so had an excuse)

It was a long day in the saddle for all, but an amazing and active one.  We are so blessed by God to have a city like we do with so many amazing facilities, like Dawny’s, blessed to have our freedom and our health to be able to use them.  What an experience to last a lifetime.
