It was an early morning start for the final big part of our holidays. We woke up at 4am to leave by 4:30am. It was a great drive and really easily done. It was just Dad and the kids for the trip as sally worked and then flew up. The kids tried to sleep for the first let and then Had to find entertainment until Coffs Harbour when they were allowed to watch screens. The trip was marked by no fast food and only quick stops. The only food purchased was 3 coffees to keep the driver awake.
When we arrived in Brisbane we unpacked, had a swim and dad got to go for a run along the river. The kids then organised to get takeaway with dad while we waited for mum to arrive.
As we sat eating dinner we could see the planes coming into land in the distance and managed to spot mums plane.
We picked mum up from the station after a quick train trip from the airport and returned to our unit. So exhausted!!!
