The BT have an easy start with a game against Cairns and finish the day with a hard game against SYDNEY Uni who were in a tough pool.
The RT are fighting to get in the top of the table and will replay Central Coast as there was only 3 teams in their pool.”
Mark starts the day with a leisurely ride and then a run to see Kate’s game. It was a flogging by the BT and quite hard to watch.
Ed has finished his book!!! So a trip to Dymocks is required to reward him. Sal and Ed ride into the city. So bike friendly!
Then pop over to watch Holly’s game. Another nail biter by RT. Hols found her superpower speed and drove like a champion. Well done RT.. after a little misunderstanding, the win took them into the top of the table. Pretty good to be on top 16 when you are ranked 29th.
Hols was shattered and not happy to ride home. Slight problem that the bike lock got stuck and we had to leave sal and Ed’s bikes at the pool.
Game 3 for the day Bt v Sydney Uni. They started strong and got 4 goals in first qtr. that was too much for us to come back from. Kate was happy with her defense and pool time.
Game 4 for RT v Barracudda. Another tough game. Claudio the coach was very passionate “ when I tell you to go to the toilet, you go, when I tell you to jump you ask how high”. The girls looked stunned and absolutely petrified. Hols claimed she wasn’t too worried but her expression said otherwise. Another nail biter and lost 4-3. Amazing game and well fought.
Dinner out with RT to Southbank where the parents chatted whilst the kids swam in the pool- until a chockito was sighting and everyone had to get out!
