Summer Fun #36

Loving holidays in Brisbane.
After a sleep in whilst adjusting to no day light saving, Mark tuned up the bikes after a long hibernation.

The weather was perfect as we rode a reccy around Brisbane: around Kangaroo Point, Southbank, across to the city, stopping at Dymocks and then to Pancake Palour.
We might have gone a little overboard with the pancakes and waffles. Way too much food!

Back along the river to check out All Hallows’ and the teams’ accomodation. Then over the Storeybridge to our accomodation.  We are staying just a short bike ride across the Storeybridge from the team.c

Sal loved it! Kate has not been her happy self today. Ed is a speed demon on the bike and Hols gets distracted.

Then a cool off swim in the pool. Leisurely peaceful swims are a thing of the past now the kids and Mark all play waterpolo.

Kate spent the afternoon devouring her book, Ed and Sal rode to Southbank for a swim and Mark went for a ride.

Out to Brisbane Aquatic Centre (25 min away in the middle of nowhere) we boiled and overheated whilst watching the Australian stingers play Japan
