Summer Fun #42 Semi finals

After a late finish last night we had a late start to Wednesday.
Holly played against Melbourne.  Our coach is Italian and very “passionate” bordering on abusive to the girls.
We are all a bit over it by now and there have been tears shed.  We think there needs to be some encouragement as well.

Kate had a tough match against the mermaids, in the semi final, in that she got no pool time in the match. We lost the game as well, so it was a tough match to be at.
But one of the fun things is the community of parents who are present one way or another.
Parents who are not there (someone has to keep the country running and do some work)  also get involved, dressing up and getting live commentary on whatsapp. Our good fri Nd Mark Lewis, a slug and parent of two kids got a pair of shorts from us so that the 2 marks could match.

The parents who follow the live feed get a little stressed.  Mark Lewis got banned into the cupboard during the game.

Ed has been watching a lot of waterpolo but also getting many treats. He got to go to dymocks as a reward for reading a whole book and then got donut time as well.

Later on Ed and dad got to check out some car dealers together.

It has been a long tournament so a Quiet drink was needed for mum and dad.  Luckily there was a pub about 50 metres away.  As we walked up there we saw a sign for iced coffee, something Holly has formed a love for.  She was promised one for tomorrow.

After our walk and drink there was a final Team dinner before our battle for the bronze medal with Sydney Uni tomorrow.
