Summer Fun #1

Welcome to our summer of fun.

Today is the first day of the Meriden school holidays.  Ed has been on holidays for a week.  It is also Mark and my day off after a CRAZY few weeks. Finally a day for us to breathe and hang out as a family.

Whilst Mark was on a long awaited for ride, I had a great idea to set up the holiday rules.  They were not particularly well received.

To celebrate the end of term, we chillaxed at UTS Haberfield Rowers Club and had our favourite shared meal of pizza, calamari, chips aka Mooska in Noosa.  Mark and I had dreams of a long lunch by the Bay- but 45 min is a long lunch for our kids.

Part of our holiday rules includes "reading time" so we then stocked up on a few books.  Quite a few teen romance books for Kate.

Then the #pooltour began with 3 pools. Trinity for Ed, Ryde for Hols and SOPAC for Kate.

Training for 16A’s has started with a bang- Nathan is working his hardest to get the girls fit (with 1.4km swim) and 20 min of throwing drills. Lest the mistakes of State tournament be repeated in Brisbane.
Over at Ryde pool, not to be outdone by her sister, Holly and  the Ryde Tigers swam 2.7km and then played a game.

The family is pumped for a fit and healthy summer.
