What better day than to start Boxing Day with a ride and/or sleep in.
Sal prepped for Layson Boxing Day; beef fillet and an interesting Green Salad. What is an interesting salad you ask? One that enjoys waterskiing and walks in the rain? Our interpretation is one with rocket, pecans, quinoa, apricots, peach, raisins drizzled with a citrus dressing.
Next stop, West Pymble pool for an easy 1.5km swim.
Layson Boxing Day was graciously hosted by Andrew and Jan. They are fantastic hosts. So relaxed yet organised.
Berowra was terribly hit by the hail storms. Many houses were covered in taups and windows had huge hail stone holes. So sad.
Sal spent most of the day “supervising” the kids in the pool. Ed and Holly splashed with Gabby and Charlotte as they were drowning each other and “put in jail.” Kate loved chatting with her older cousins. Mark enjoyed chatting with Steven and playing scrabble.
