Summer Fun #12

Christmas Eve

One day until Christmas and your can feel the excitement in the air.

Mark started early with a trip down to Carrington Falls with the Ambulance Crew. On Christmas Eve 2011, one of the SCAT paramedics passed away trying to save a rock climber stuck on a cliff.  About 22 guys went down to the site to reflect and remember.

Sal and the kids celebrated Grandads 75th birthday at Rhodes with the Windybanks. The meals were gooood. We gave grandad a soft blanket to cuddle and a copy of his favourite photo overlooking Mount Roland.

Next stop some final Christmas shopping (or exchanging). Rhodes and Macquarie. Groan. Sal needs a big bottle of Coke after that.

We are always keen for visitors over Christmas- unless you are a rat with wings. Mark, as always, saved the day and the pigeon flew out the top windows.

After church, The Corbett Jones graciously offered for us to crash their dinner, a slow cooked Red Thai Curry for dinner. What lovely company.

The night finished with Ashbury lights, wrapping Christmas and “Why do they call it Christmas” DVD.
