Day 13: Ohhh Paris....the kids have waited so long to meet you

Farewell Disneyland, hello Paris!

Disneyland was a huge rush and lots of fun.  However, we are happy to move onto Paris. (our hotel at Disneyland was close to shops etc, but I cringe when I think of the mouldy food I found under our bed and all the mould in the bathroom...eww...)

Of course, we started the day at the Patisserie
Then an hours drive to Paris.
Apartment at Montparnasse (where Midnight in Paris is based) is fantastic.  Love the double glazed windows in Europe. Everything is so quiet.

The kids are still exhausted after Disneyland but we wanted to see Tour d'Eiffel.  So we dropped the car off for 3 days (we only needed one roundabout to tell us that driving on the wrong side of the road with crazy Parisians will not help us have a relaxing holiday) and caught the Metro to the Eiffel Tower.

We all walked to the first floor... Over 300 steps.

We stopped for slushies and a romantic kiss on the first floor. Both necessities on a 36* day 😍

Sal didn't really like climbing up so high, so Mark and the kids kept climbing up to the second level.

What a view!

Though it is really warm here still we are totally loving it here....
