Day 20: Langeais and a paddle down the Loire

Another perfect day in the Loire.
We started the morning at the Richeliue Markets for some cheese and saussise (French Salami). Kate chose 4 varieties: goats cheese, tomato, chorizo and canard.

Then some patisseries from the Richelieu Patisserie...not as good as the ones from Chinon.  Maybe we are becoming Religiouse Chocolat snobs!
With full tummies, we went to Langeais (how do you spell that again?) for a paddle down the Loire.
The girls sang pretty much every Pitch Perfect song with a couple of reenactments of the Fat Amy scene as she canoed to see Bumper singing "We Belong together." Holly tried her hardest to make us fall in and Mark tried to go down anything that looked remotely like a rapid.

We also had a quick look at the Langeais castle and stood on a real draw bridge. The kids are not particularly interests in castles but love the gift shops.
