Day 33: Fun and Fondue

Familiar story: Mark goes for bike ride. Sal (and Gayelene) and kids go shopping.
Briancon is beautiful walled city with lots of touristy shops to visit.

Gayelene and I have never had a cheese fondue and all the restaurant have it as their specialty so we decided that we needed to try it.
After we took this photo, the waiter came up to us and told us that only the bread is dipped in the cheese and not the meat. Cheese fondue Faux pas!  The cheese was Gruyere and Beaufort.
Beaufort is a town up near Galibier.

During dinner we discussed who we would invite to a dinner party.  Our list, after much debate, looked something like this:
- Winston Churchill
- Yoda
- Leonardo Da Vinci
- Apostle Paul
- C. S Lewis
- Billy Joel
- Rebel Wilson (you can guess who suggested that)
- Neil Armstrong
- Dawn Fraser
- Joan of Arc
- Victoria and Albert
- Steve Jobs or Bill Gates
- Shakespeare

We also decided that we wouldn't invite:
- Darth Vader
- Henry viii (he has a thing for Katherine's)
- Adolf Hitler
- Vincent Van Gough (too melancholy)
