We are planning on making some posters to take to the Tour in a couple of days. Sal wants to make some for Richie Porte and the girls and Mark want to make one for Michael "Bling" Matthews.
After looking for a nice patisserie in this town, we have finally found a nice Boulangerie. The variety of breads sold are amazing and although it doesn't sell many patisseries, what we have had so far have been beautiful. Katy and daddy bought a chocolate eclair, apple tart and some meringue with fruit jam....which was shared between the 5 of us.
Don't be turned off by their rustic looks...that eclair and myrtle berry meringuey slice were amazing.
Sal and the kids spent the afternoon in the pool. Holly is working on handstands and cartwheels. She has practiced so hard that her feet are now very sore. Sal is working on.... Ummm.... Not much. She has been enjoying her book "Three men on a boat" that Annemarie gave her before the trip.
The kids have been listening to a lot of audio books this holiday. Surprisingly the one they all play over and over is "What Katy Did" by Susan Cooleridge. The book starts with 2 grasshoppers saying "Katy did" "Katy didn't" "Katy did" "Katy didn't" and it is fun to randomly say that to Kate!
Mark went for his final ride in the Pyrenees and is still loving cycling here.
