Day 21: Drive to Dordogne

So today has been pretty boring.
We packed up from Richalieu and drove to Marquay in the Dordogne.

An interesting statistic from the holiday:
Times vomited per person:
Mark and Kate: 0
Sally: 1 due to eating very smelly goats cheese too soon after having food poisoning
Holly: 1 after we made her try some artichoke
Ed: 8  Ed definately gets motion sick in planes, trains and cars.

For years we have been getting cranky at Ed for the pace that he eats his food.  What we have seen is that Ed actually chews his food really well... No lumps at all!  Just thought we would share that disgusting tidbit for the day.

Now back to our holiday:
Another pretty ordinary patisserie at a town starting with L that was on a river.

Finally to the Dordogne. So pleased to spend a few days here. Beautiful hills and scenery!

  1. Have you discovered the hospital vomit bags? Long plastic bag with a harder circle at the top. Works well for cars. Ginger tablets might help. We used to use travel calm, but our vomitter is not so keen on them anymore, and seems to have improved in that dept.
